Your trial, finding your way round, and the first things to set up.

• How do I start?Masthead is in early access. Leave your email at 1936ai.com/masthead/signup and we'll write to you when your company can start.
• Where is Masthead?At masthead.1936ai.com. Choose Sign in with 1936 AI and use your 1936 AI account: Google, Microsoft, or your email.
• What should I set up first?Name your offices and add your company's legal name and address. Add your team in the Directory, with each person's manager in Reports to.
• How do I set up our offices?In Settings → Offices (admins and HR). Give each office a name, its country and, in India, its state.
• Where do I add our company's legal name and address?In Settings → Company details (admins and HR): the short name people see, the legal name and registered address that offer letters and payslips print, your website, a general email and your CIN.
• What is in the menu?Today, Inbox, Calendar, Tasks: your day, what waits on you, your diary and your work.
• How do I jump to a page quickly?Click the search box at the top of the menu, or press ⌘K on a Mac (Ctrl+K elsewhere), type a few letters of the page you want and press Enter.
• Does Masthead work on a phone?Yes. On a phone the menu becomes a bar along the bottom: Today, Inbox, Tasks and Browse, which lists every page.
• Can I use Masthead in dark mode?Yes. In Settings → Appearance, choose Light, Dark or Match system, which follows your device.
• Which time zone does Masthead use?India time. Punch-ins, leave dates, the calendar and every report are in India time, which is why the calendar says IST.
