Bring what you already have. Here is what each product takes in, how, and what you can take with you if you ever leave. Every product starts with 14 days free, no card needed, so you can move in before you pay.

Galley Dataroom: your documents and investors

What you bringHow
Your documentsUpload a whole folder from your computer, up to 200 files at a time, and its sub-folders come with it. Word, Excel and PowerPoint files are turned into pages investors can read. How do I upload documents?
Older filesGalley doesn't take .doc, .xls or .ppt files, CSV or ZIP files. Save them in a newer format, or as PDF, first. Which files can I upload?
Your list of fundsImport a spreadsheet of up to 2,000 rows. You see a preview before anything is saved, and nothing already there is overwritten. How do I add funds?
Your investorsPaste up to 100 email addresses at once, with names, straight from a spreadsheet, and choose what each one can open. How do I invite investors?

Masthead HR: your team

What you bringHow
Everyone on your teamOne CSV template, a row per person: identity, bank, PAN and UAN, salary breakup, PT state, and any leave already used this year. Can I add many people at once?

Margin Ledger: your books

Customers and vendorsTheir opening balances go in Reference, customers' from a CSV. Where do I add customers?
Bank statementsThe file your bank's website gives you, as a CSV or text file, or its text pasted in. Margin skips lines it already has. How do I bring in our bank statement?
Your budgetDownload the template, fill in the rupees for each cost head and month, and upload it. How do I upload a budget?
Your CANothing changes for them if you send them the Tally export each month, or they can sign in to Margin with their own email. How does my CA work with Margin?

If you leave

  • When a plan ends, we keep its data for 30 days so you can download it or come back, and we tell you before we delete it.
  • Galley: an Owner downloads the whole room as the Closing archive, one ZIP file with every document as uploaded, an index, the full activity log, every NDA acceptance, and the questions and answers. Can I download the whole data room?
  • Margin: each month's balance sheet, profit and loss and cash flow as an Excel file, and the Tally export. Can I download the monthly accounts myself?
  • Your invoices: on your account page, each financial year's in one ZIP file.
