Punching in, who is in today, fixing missed days, and the rules. Part of Masthead Team.
- How do I punch in and out?On Today (or Attendance), choose where you are working from and click Punch in. The dial then counts your day. Click Punch out when you finish.
- What does "Where are you working from?" mean?It records the kind of place you worked from that day: home, a coworking space, the company office, a client's or a vendor's site, on the move, or travelling out of town.
- When is someone marked late? When they punch in after their shift's start plus its Late after minutes, set in Settings → Attendance rules → Shifts.
- What happens if someone forgets to punch in?The day shows as No punch, and the live board lists them. They can ask for the day to be put right with an attendance fix within seven days.
- How do I fix a missed or wrong day?Open Attendance → Regularisations. Pick the day on the calendar: one you were marked absent, missed a punch, or had only part of a day.
- How do I see who is in today?Attendance → Overview shows today's pulse: how many are in, out, on leave or yet to punch in, who came in late, and each person's punch times, hours and where they worked from.
- Where do I see my month? On Attendance, click Monthly (or Monthly view).
- What is the attendance map?Attendance → Map shows where people punched in and out, for this month, last month or dates you choose. Admins, leadership, HR and operations leads can open it.
- How do I get an attendance report? On Attendance, click Analytics. Choose the dates (this week, this month, last month, the last 30 to 90 days, or your own) and a city.
- How do I set holidays and weekly offs?In Settings → Attendance rules (admins and HR): Holidays: add each holiday with its date, for every office or one.
- What is comp off?A day off earned by working on a weekly off or a holiday: a full day worked earns one, a half day earns half.
