Tasks, projects and calendar
Getting work done, together.
- How do tasks work?Click New task, give it a title and someone to do it, and add a project, due date, priority (low to urgent) and tags if you like.
- Can a task repeat?Yes. Under Repeat, choose daily, weekly or monthly. When it's marked done, the next one appears, due the same interval later.
- Can one task wait for another?Yes. Under Dependencies, pick the tasks that block it; it can't be marked done until they are.
- What are escalated tasks?A task more than a day overdue with no update is marked escalated, and admins are told.
- Is there a summary of everyone's tasks?Yes, Tasks → Dashboard: open and overdue tasks, those due in the next week, completions over the last 30 days, and open work by status, priority, person, department and project.
- How do projects work?Click New project and follow the five steps: a template or a blank project, the basics (name, brief, priority, lead), dates, any fields of your own, then confirm.
- What is Capacity?Projects → Capacity shows how much work each project member has over the next 4 or 12 weeks, so you can see who is stretched before you give them more.
- What is the Milestones page?A month calendar of every project milestone, marked on track, at risk, off track, completed or overdue. Milestones without a target date aren't on it.
- What is on the Calendar?Your meetings, 1-on-1s, interviews, tasks, leave and milestones, by day, week or month, in India time.
