Does Masthead work on a phone?

Yes. On a phone the menu becomes a bar along the bottom: Today, Inbox, Tasks and Browse, which lists every page. Your team can punch in, ask for leave and approve requests from it. Phones that support it offer to add Masthead to the home screen like an app.
