Who sees what, AI, and sensitive details.

• Can another company see our books?No. Each company's data sits in its own sealed section of Margin's database, and every request reaches only the company of the person signed in.
• Why does Margin email me a code?Some changes need you to confirm it's you: changing the company's legal details, unlocking a closed month, making a Tally export or uploading in bulk.
• How are bank details and PANs protected?Vendor bank details and employees' PAN and bank details are stored encrypted and shown masked.
• What is sent to AI, and when?Only when a bill or a card statement is read: the file you attach is sent to Claude, by Anthropic, to read its details.
