Your trial, finding your way round, and setting up your books.

• How do I start?Margin is in early access, for companies in India. Leave your email at 1936ai.com/margin/signup and we'll write to you when your company can start.
• Where is Margin?At margin.1936ai.com. Choose Sign in with 1936 AI and use your 1936 AI account: Google, Microsoft, or your email.
• What should I set up first?Check your company details: PAN, TAN, GST number and the bank account salaries are paid from. Add your bank accounts, cost heads and vendors.
• How do I find my way round?In the menu, the Margin group has Overview (the finance pages), Expenses, Assets and Tax; payroll and pay reviews sit under People.
• Is there help inside Margin?Yes. Settings → Help on the finance pages has short guides (your first expense, vendors, Tally, the budget, payment files, card statements) and answers to common questions.
• What else comes with Margin?The everyday parts of the same app: Today and the Inbox, the Directory, tasks, projects and the calendar, announcements, recognition, onboarding and offboarding, assets and more.
• Which year and time zone does Margin use?The Indian financial year, April to March: FY27 is 1 April 2026 to 31 March 2027. Dates and deadlines are in India time.
