What does Margin send to Galley?
When your company also uses Galley Dataroom, Margin can keep your data room up to date with what investors and lenders ask about your money. Once the connection is switched on, it sends seven kinds of document, as Excel files unless it says otherwise:
- Monthly accounts: one for each month you lock, with the profit and loss and the cash flow for the month and for the financial year so far, and the balance sheet at the month's end, grouped as Statements shows them.
- Cash and runway: the cash in each bank account from its latest statement, the money owed to you and by you by how old it is (totals only, never a customer's or vendor's name), and your runway, worked out as Ask your books does.
- Debt schedule: every active loan in Books → Loans: lender, amount sanctioned, rate, tenure, EMI, what's outstanding, and the next EMI's date and amount.
- Registrations: your legal name, PAN, TAN, CIN, PF and ESI codes, registered address, and each GST number with its state, from Settings → Companies.
- GST and TDS returns: the record of your returns over the last 12 months: when each was filed, and whether on time.
- Bank statements: each bank account's statements from the last 12 months, as the PDFs from the bank, exactly as you uploaded them.
- Bank statements summary: for each account, month by month over the last 12 months: what the statements cover, the opening, closing and lowest balance, and the money in and out (how many entries and their total).
Every figure is worked out by Margin from your own books, never by AI, in rupees shown in lakhs and crores. If you keep books for more than one company in Margin, only your default company's are sent.
