Which covenants can Margin work out?

Four from the books, and any other condition you check by hand. Each is worked out from what's posted to your books, at the end of the month it's tested, or over the quarter for a quarterly DSCR:

CovenantWhat Margin works out
Minimum cash balanceCash on hand and in the bank at the month's end, from the balance sheet.
Maximum debt to tangible net worthDebt divided by tangible net worth. Debt is every loan's account under 2110 Long-term borrowings, the part due within 12 months included, and each cash credit or overdraft. Tangible net worth is share capital, reserves and the earnings to date, less intangible assets (1130). With no debt, it's met; with debt and a tangible net worth of nothing or less, it's breached.
Minimum DSCR (on profit before tax)EBITDA divided by the interest and EMIs due in the period (how, and why on profit before tax).
Minimum current ratioCurrent assets divided by current liabilities, from the balance sheet. Current liabilities include the part of each term loan due within 12 months, and the whole of each cash credit or overdraft.
Checked by handA condition you check yourself each time, such as who holds the shares (how it works).

On a certificate, Workings under each covenant shows how it was worked out, with the accounts and amounts behind it, so you or your CA can check it.
