When does Masthead send, and what does Send now do?

• Every morning from 6:00 India time, Masthead sends whatever changed since its last send, and nothing that didn't. So the org chart and people list go the day after someone joins, leaves, or changes title, team or manager; the headcount when someone joins or leaves and when a new month starts; the hiring plan when a role opens or closes or a candidate moves to another stage; a policy when it's added or changed.
• At once, when an admin or HR clicks Send to Galley at the top of the Org chart or Policies page, or Send now in Settings → Galley. A line then says what happened, such as "Sent to Galley: 2 waiting for your team to file, 3 unchanged."

Nothing is sent while the connection is switched off, or while Masthead is read-only. Removing a policy in Masthead doesn't remove it from Galley.
