How do I switch a connection on or off?

In your 1936 AI account, not in Galley. An owner or admin of your company:

1. Opens your 1936 AI account.
2. Under Connections, chooses Switch on beside Masthead to Galley, or Margin to Galley.

Connections show there once your company has both products, on a trial or a plan. Switch off stops new documents; what's already in Galley stays.

In Galley, Company settings (click your picture at the top right, then Company settings) shows under Connections which products send documents, who switched each on and when, and every kind they send, with a link to your 1936 AI account. Your team sees the same list on the Inbox.
