How are leave balances worked out?

Each calendar year, everyone gets the year's casual, sick and earned leave from your leave policy at once, with less for people who join during the year. Unused casual and sick leave lapses on 1 January; earned leave carries over, up to the policy's limit. Leave shows each balance and every request with its status.
